WorkshopsOver the last year I have begun to teach workshops for adults in my home and studio, providing opportunities to explore experimenting with paint and different media in small supportive groups. There has been a great deal of interest in my Concertina Sketchbooks, which I use as part of my research process and I have begun holding workshops to make and embellish these for people to take home either to sketch in or to simply treasure! Please contact me if you are interested. I also collaborate with local schools providing workshops for students, tailored to their particular needs, often in preparation for exams or in techniques and applications of different media. As a teacher of Art in secondary schools for all of my career in Lancashire I love working with young people to inspire, motivate and encourage them to create and experiment with ideas and materials. I have a wealth of experience in teaching to GSCE and A level art and often engaged with Artists in Residence throughout my career to provide deeper experiences for my students. Please contact me to discuss your requirements if you are interested in hosting an Artist in Residence or are interested in one of my Adult Workshop days.
We were very fortunate to have Stephanie spend the day with our Year 12 and 13 A Level Art and Textile students. She ran a full day of different workshops exploring a variety of techniques, materials and processes. Students created a diverse range of outcome, thoroughly enjoying the day. Stephanie was enthusiastic and inspiring. |
